Why choose a CycledLife over burial or cremation?
The Story of the Four Leaves is about giving back to the people you shared smiles with, you loved and laughed with, the ones who will miss you the most. In your heart you carry a wish of health and joy for those you will someday leave behind. A time will come when your family and friends will celebrate your life and be thankful you cared about their well-being.
The Story of the Four Leaves

The first leaf falls to the ground, where its nutrients go back into the soil. Eons ago, this was how all of our ancestors joined in the circle of life.

The second leaf falls to the ground. Someone picks it up, digs a deep hole in the dirt, places the leaf in the hole, and covers the leaf with dirt. There is nothing natural about what happened to this second leaf. The ground is not enriched. Plant life is destroyed. Animal habitats uprooted. With buried human remains undesirable pathogens leach into the groundwater; embalmed bodies allow a biocide and known carcinogen to mix with our water supply; endless consumption of labor and resources will be required; land taken for use by the dead; and wood, concrete, metals, and other commodities buried. There is nothing natural about burial. This buried leaf's final journey fails to honor nature's plan.
Woefully, the third leaf is burned. Cremating this leaf spews undesired pollution. The natural cycle of life is broken - lost forever. The particles of the leaf, meant to be beneficial; instead, harm the living. Incendiary chemicals consumed could have been used productively. Survivors’ health is diminished. The EPA Administrator said, " Pollutants such as mercury, arsenic and particulate matter shorten or reduce the quality of Americans' lives and put at risk the health and development of future generations. Incinerating the dead fails to be a gracious or loving act.

A wise person clutching the fourth leaf dies. Good reasoning precludes us from burning them. As loving beings, we follow the decedent's final wish for a CycledLife. For the decedent, the decision to avoid burial or cremation was a moral imperative. The body together with some warm water and an alkali, containing a key plant nutrient, will be returned to the land. The human’s DNA will be gone. The body will be healed of all viruses, prions, and bacteria. The pure-white calcium phosphate comprising the bones and teeth will benefit the earth or be memorialized in an urn. The toxic mercury in the teeth will be safely reclaimed, not inhaled or ingested by the living. Soft tissue is transformed into a nutrient enriched water ("ANEW"). The body is given unto the land. It is connected with one's ancestors, dating back to the beginning of life. Survivors are spared the harm which would have befallen them had the body been burned or buried. Friends and family give thanks for this loving act.
